How to view the summary trend report
Follow the steps below to navigate to the summary trend report:
Click insight along the top navigation.
Hover over beta reports.
Click summary trends.
The report will now load for you.
Understanding the summary trend report
In the table below it will outline what each metric means in the summary trend report.
Note: The graphs displays the last rolling 12 month period compared with the previous year and applies this data across the various reports on this page.
Conversion Rate | Booking engine conversion rate across different device types by month for the last year. |
Sessions | Sessions are unique visitors to your website. Shoppers are unique visitors that performed at least one search on the booking engine. |
Effectiveness | Website, rate and booking engine effectiveness. Website Effectiveness - Website Effectiveness is the number of unique visitors to site who progressed to the booking engine. |
Shoppers | Unique visitors that performed at least one search on the booking engine, compared with the same period previous year. |
Bookings | Bookings and booking engine availability effectiveness, compared with the same period previous year. |
Revenue | Reservation revenue and number of bookings, compared with the same period previous year. |
Revenue Key Metrics | Reservation revenue, room nights and number of bookings for the previous 12 months. |
Revenue per Room Night | Reservation revenue per room night and total room nights for the previous 12 months. |
Change the chart type in the summary trend report
Across all the reports you can change the chart type view to bar, line or area.
Export the data from the summary trend report
At the bottom of the report you can export the data via a CSV file.
