Show average Price Per Night or the Total Price when searching for multiple nights on portal results
When a guest searches for availability on your booking engine, the portal can be set to display an Average Price Per Night to simplify comparison across multiple rate plans.
What Does the Average Price Per Night Mean?
This figure represents the total cost of stay divided by the number of nights, giving users a clear and easy-to-understand pricing summary at a glance.
Formula for average cost per night:
Total Stay Cost ÷ Number of Nights = Average Price Per Night
Let’s say a guest searches for a 3-night stay and the total cost is $600. The system will display: $200 average per night
This price will show in search results and rate plan comparisons on the portal.
Enable Average Cost Per Night on the Portal
Click Portal to open this service.
Click Edit Site Profile and then click Flags to open this tab.
From the Portal Flags list click the box for Show Average price per night.
A visible tick will appear in the box to denote it has been selected.
Click save changes.
