Timed announcements on your booking engine
⚠️Important: If you want to add the option to have a timed announcement in your booking engine you will need to contact [email protected] to get the option enabled for you.
Timed announcements allow you to display custom messages on the booking engine for specific date ranges. For example, if your pool and spa will be closed for renovations in September, you can set up a message that only appears to guests searching for stays during that month.
This ensures that only the relevant guests see the message, helping you manage expectations and improve the guest experience without cluttering the booking journey for others.
Create a timed announcement
Follow the steps below to create a timed announcement.
Click the Booking Engine tab.
On the left navigation hover over Site Configuration.
Click Timed Announcements.
Click on the + Create announcement button.
Fill in the following details:
Description of message.
What should you message say: Pool closed due to maintenance.
Select what pages you wish to display it on.
Select the dates you want it to display.
Enter the message text you want to have shown on the booking engine.
Click save changes.
