  • Minimum 300 words per page of informative and unique content. However, there are exceptions for this such as contact us page, gallery page as they donโ€™t require this amount of content.

  • Conduct keywords research before the writing process, this will aid you in writing your content. There are a number of free online tools that you can use that will show you search volume results for keywords such as Google Ads Keyword Planner, Ubersuggest and AnswerThePublic

  • No duplicate content either from a sister hotel property or from another website - copying and pasting content for one website to another will have a negative impact on organic search results.

  • Writing for your guests - When writing content for your hotel website it is important to write content that will give the most value for your guests and would help them in the decision-making process. For example room pages content would need to explain what this room is suitable is for family, couples or groups, what amenities and special features are available in the room such as walk-in shower, Smart TV with Netflix, separate living area etc.

  • Refreshing content on Seasonal pages and getting them ready for the upcoming year - SHR have a great article on SEO Tip for Seasonal Pages.
