Overview
The integration enables hotels to sell digital vouchers seamlessly with SHR and redeem them using point of sale terminals through Savvy.
This centralized approach allows for comprehensive reporting, as all voucher transactions, whether digital or physical, are recorded centrally in Savvy. Hotels can now have a unified view of their voucher sales and redemptions, making it easier to track and analyse the performance of their voucher programs.
Integration Process
Once you have made contact with the Savvy team and created an account, the below steps will take place to integrate the two systems.
Savvy will email the SHR support team.
The SHR support team will confirm this has been applied to the voucher engine.
A test transaction will be configured by the SHR support team to confirm the integration is working as expected.
After this has been verified by both Savvy and SHR teams, you will be free to configure which vouchers should have Savvy connected to them on the List Vouchers screen and selecting the card icon. Those attached to Savvy will be highlighted by a green card icon.
Limitations
Please take note of the limitations of the integrations to ensure this integration is best suited for you.
Online redemption through the SHR Booking Engine is not supported at this time.
One Savvy account is supported per voucher engine.
Contact Savvy for details on merchant services and point of sale terminals support.
All voucher transactions will still be recorded in the SHR voucher system, however for now, balances redeemed through Savvy will not be reflected in the SHR platform. Those customers should rely on Savvy for live balances and all liability reporting.
The value of any voucher upsell included with the voucher bought will be added to the value of the Savvy card issued.
