Attach a reporting code to a promo code
Follow the steps below on how to attach a reporting code to a promo codes.
πNote: To run a report for promo codes you need to have a reporting code attached to the promo code you have setup.
Click the CRM tab.
Click Manage Promotions.
Click edit on the applicable promo code.
Under the General tab in the section reporting and organisation enter a reporting code.
Select save changes.
Run a promo code report
Follow the steps below to run a promo code.
Click the Insights tab.
On the left click Build a Report.
A reservation report will pre populate.
In this report enter the date range.
Next under the header select report criteria, you will see the drop down list named category one and category two.
In category one enter booking channel
In category two enter reporting code-any.
Click Run report.
You will see a reporting code called unknown this refers to all other bookings made without the use of a promo code.
Account performance dashboard
For an additional report to see the performance of your promo codes follow the steps below.
Click the CRM tab.
On the left click Account Dashboard.
You will see a screen reporting on promo codes and user accounts. From the drop down menu select promo codes to view this specific data.
