Reasons to add Privacy and Cookie policies
To ensure compliance with data protection regulations and enhance transparency with your guests, you can add links to your privacy and cookie policies within the Booking Engine.
A privacy policy is mandatory under many privacy laws.
Under GDPR, it's one of the most important documents your company has. It's the only way to demonstrate to your customers, and to the authorities, that you take data protection seriously.
You may have heard of the Cookie Law which is a European Union, EU, Directive intended to protect consumer privacy online. Under the Cookie Law, websites must:
Tell users if they are serving cookies.
Explain what information is gathered through those cookies and how that data is used.
Obtain user consent to the use of those cookies.
