Access your booking engine user account for the first time

Follow the steps below to start using your booking engine user account:

  • Reset your password before you can login.

  • On the booking engine login screen, click the Reset Your password link underneath the Login button.

  • This will bring you to the Password Reset page.

  • To reset your password, you will be required to enter the following three pieces of information:

    • Username: This is the username you normally login to the SHR BE system with.

    • Email: This is the email address that you have associated with your user account.

    • Security Question: You must select the box I'm not a robot the checkbox will become checked.

  • Then click the submit button.

  • If successful, an email will be sent to the email address associated with your account.

  • There will be a password reset link on this email that you will need to click within 24 hours to be able to reset your password.

  • Follow the instructions on that page to change your password to a new one.

  • Once you have updated your password you can go to the login page with your Username and new password.

  • You will then be asked to agree to the Terms & Conditions.


Set up an authenticator app for the first time

Follow the steps below to start using an authenticator app:

Note: An authenticator app is only required if you require to view credit card details. This may not be an option for your user account.

  • Log out of booking engine completely and log back in again.

  • You will then see a screen with all the details on how to set up all the authenticators.

  • You only need to set up one authenticator either on your mobile or desktop.

  • Once you have successfully authenticated you will be able to retrieve card details on reservations.


Retrieve credit card details on a reservation using an authenticator app

Follow the steps below to learn how to retrieve credit card details from a reservation:

  • Select the hotel name from the dropdown box in the top right corner and then select the Booking Engine service.

  • Once your in the booking engine run a room reservation report and go into any reservation.

  • You may see a link on the reservation to Please setup your Authenticator here this will bring you to the page with all the instructions on how to set up each type of authenticator. This is only if you have not previously setup your authenticator or you have reset an authenticator.

  • Once you have successfully authenticated you will be able to retrieve card details.
