Guarantee code override
Outlined below is an overview of what the guarantee code override is.
When a booking is made and delivered to a PMS or third-party interface, a guarantee code may also be included as part of the reservation XML.
The code sent will depend on the deposit type used for the booking.
In some cases, a custom code is required so that when the booking arrives at the PMS, the hotel will know how to handle that booking.
Allow the guarantee code override
Tick the Override Guarantee Code in Opera or the interface settings editor.
Click Save Changes.
An input field will be displayed in the rate editor.
This is optional and the hotel can choose to configure a guarantee code to be used for this rate regardless of the deposit type configured in the finance tab of the rate editor.
