Trybe Integration on the Booking Engine

This article will give an overview of the Trybe Integration on the IBE and how to get this set up.

  • Trybe allows users to book add-ons such as spa treatments and other activities as part of their room booking journey.

  • In addition to any upsells or upgrades configured inside the IBE, the guest will have the option to add items to their shopping cart from Trybe.

  • The section image, title, and description are configurable through the IBE. Text for the call-to-action button can also be amended.

  • In the Booking Engine, after the user has made their package selection in the popup, a summary of the additional items in their cart is displayed.

  • Items can be removed from the cart directly from the page or by opening the popup again.

Note: Booking modifications are not permitted for users that book any Trybe packages as part of their room booking journey. Only cancel-to-rebook is permitted.

Note: Deposits on Trybe items purchased are treated in the same way as the deposit policy on the room rate. If a rate requires no pre-payment, then either do any of the packages purchased. This works in the same way as the IBE upsells.



How to set up Trybe

Booking Engine and Trybe customers should contact [email protected] for more information about getting Trybe set up for their property.


After the connection is set up

The SHR Technical support team will configure the integration with Trybe.

Once configured the property will need to fill in the following information that will appear during the booking process.

  • Click the booking engine along the top navigation.

  • However over site configuration.

  • Click Trybe configuration.

  • Under the general tab enter a title, button label (name), description and select an image.

  • Click Save Changes.

Next select the rates tab.

  • The rates need to be configured, by default we recommend the default behaviour is set to disallow selected offerings.

  • If you want a spa package to show on a specific rate you must then add a rule, select the rate on the left hand side, allow selected offering and enter the Trybe package service code, if you wish to add more than one spa offering to the rate you can separate them with a comma.

  • You must set at least one Rate Rule for the spa offers to show on the booking engine.

  • For Rates where the Spa Package price is already built into the accommodation price then you would configure it as a Package inclusive and enter the Trybe package service codes.

  • Click Save Changes.


Once you are happy you have all the services added contact the support team [email protected] and they will be able to switch the connection live.
