Set up your Room Upgrades

Room upgrades in the booking engine allow you to enhance the guest experience by offering higher-category rooms during the booking process. These upgrades are shown dynamically, depending on whatโ€™s available and suitable for the selected occupancy.

Configure Room Upgrades

To configure a room upgrade for a specific room, follow the steps below:

  1. Go to Manage Rooms > List Rooms.

  2. Click Edit next to the room you want to configure.

  3. Navigate to the Advanced tab.

  4. Under the Room Upgrades section, select the room types you want to offer as Room Upgrades and click add selected.

  5. Click Save Changes to apply the settings.


How it works for guests

Once upgrades are configured, the system will offer them dynamically during the booking journey, based on room availability and pricing.

  • Upgrade options appear on the Customise Page, under the room information.

  • The panel showing room upgrades can be collapsed by the guest.

  • Only rooms that are both available and priced higher than the selected room will be shown.

  • Upgrade suggestions are filtered based on the occupancy selected during the booking.
