Cancellation processing
If you have decided to set your cancellations to request approval you will need to process the cancellations. If you have selected auto approved cancellations then you will not need to approve the cancellation.
Follow the steps below to process a cancellation.
Click Booking Engine along the top navigation.
On the left navigation click New Cancellations.
The list of cancelled reservations will list.
Each cancellation will have the following details noted on them:
Reservation ID.
Reservation Reference.
Requested date and time will be noted.
The check-in date will be noted.
The status.
The approval status.
Click resv. details to view the details of the reservation.
Click process to process the cancelation.
In this screen you will see the following data and options:
Booking Reference.
Cancellation request time and date.
Click view reservation to view more details regarding the reservation.
Customer name will be shown.
The rate code.
The cancellation reason.
The cancellation policy name and option to view the cancelation policy in full.
The total penalties.
The room associated with the reservation.
The check-in and checkout date.
Number of adults and children.
A text box for internal notes.
Click confirm viewed to process the cancellation.
Batch process cancellations
To batch process cancellations follow the steps below:
Click Booking Engine along the top navigation.
On the left navigation click New Cancellations.
The list of cancelled reservations will list.
Tick the box next to the cancellation request.
Click mark viewed.
