Cancellation Watchlist

Note: Cancellation watchlist shows a list of bookings that are determined to be at higher risk of cancellation. Bookings due for check-in over the next 60 days are included. This list is refreshed every morning based on pattern analysis and machine learning.

  • Click insights along the top navigation.

  • On the left hover over cancellations.

  • Click cancellation watchlist.

  • A list of upcoming reservations will populate. These bookings have been identified as at risk bookings by AI technology.

  • The bookings are divided by high and medium risk.

    • The grey color identifies medium risk.

    • Purple identifies high risk.

  • Within the cancellation watchlist, you can see other headers such as created (date of booking), reference (the unique code to identify the booking), the rate and room, check-in and checkout date, bookers name, email, and total (the total value of the booking).

  • Another header is status.

  • Click update and this will open a new screen.

  • In this screen you can enter the likely outcome of the reservation. Enter the correct status and leave a note.

  • Click update status.

Note: By identifying the medium and high-risk bookings a property can build a booking retention strategy to retain these bookings.

  • To identify the number of at risk bookings on a particular date scroll to the right to view the calendar.

  • Click on any date in the calendar and this will filter the specific reservations for that day.

πŸ“’ Note: If you mark a reservation as cancelled in the cancellation watchlist, you will also need to cancel this booking in the booking engine.
