The main thing to note with WinAuth is that it should be used for one user tied to their own specific Windows login. It is possible to have WinAuth installed more than once on a PC, but it has to be associated to the Windows User login.

The recommended uses for the WinAuth application are below:

  • You must have only one instance of WinAuth per Windows User.

    • This means that when a User is finished retrieving card details and another User wants to retrieve card details on the same PC, the first User must log out of Windows and the new User log in with their own Windows account.

  • WinAuth does not work on mobile devices.

  • Your System time should always be synced with Internet time for the WinAuth codes to work when retrieving card details.
