Available deposit modes
The below will outline the available deposit modes.
Note: The billing type will decide which options can be added to your account.
Take NO money or deposit
This option allows the rate to be booked using a credit card but payment is taken manually at the property when the guest arrives.
Take commission
This is where the customer pays a non-refundable booking deposit at the time of booking to secure their reservation.
Take entire amount
The full booking value is taken at the time of booking.
Take a fixed amount
A fixed amount of the total booking is taken at the time of booking.
Take a percentage
A percentage of the total booking is taken at the time of booking.
Take value of first night
The value of the first night of stay is taken at the time of booking.
Take value of first X nights
The property specifies how many nights to take. So if it is set to the first 3 nights then the value of the first 3 nights of stay is taken at the time of booking.
Take full amount offline
This option looks to the guest that the full amount is being taken at the time of booking, but the payment is taken manually in the property at the time of booking. SHR does not provide CVV numbers of customers' credit cards.
Take a fixed amount offline
This option looks to the guest that a fixed amount is being taken at the time of booking, but the payment is taken manually in the property at the time of booking. SHR Group does not provide CVV numbers of customers' credit cards.
Take a percentage offline
This option looks to the guest that a percentage of the full amount is being taken at the time of booking, but the payment is taken manually in the property at the time of booking. SHR Group does not provide CVV numbers of customers' credit cards.
Take the value of the first night offline
This option looks to the guest that the value of the first night is being taken at the time of booking, but the payment is taken manually in the property at the time of booking. SHR Group does not provide CVV numbers of customers' credit cards.
Take the value of the first X nights offline
As above - This option looks to the guest that the value of the first x number of nights is being taken at the time of booking, but the payment is taken manually in the property at the time of booking. SHR does not provide CVV numbers of customers credit cards.
Set up deposit mode in your rate
Click booking engine in the top navigation.
On the left navigation hover over rates and packages.
Click browse rates.
Click edit on the rate you would like to access your deposit mode.
Click the finance tab.
From the drop down menu click on the appropriate deposit mode.
Click save changes.
