Group Bookings/Minimum Rooms Per Rate Booking in SHR BE
Some properties may wish to offer a discounted group rate that is only available if a minimum number of rooms are booked in a single transaction. This would be useful for small gatherings or events such as family functions, corporate groups, golf tours etc.
To enable this feature, follow the steps below:
Go into SHR booking engine.
On the left navigation panel select rates & packages, then select browse rates.
On the rate you wish to enable this feature on, select the edit button to the right of the rate.
Select the rooms tab.
Under the booking restrictions title select minimum rooms required.
6. Save changes.
Note: Unlike the maximum room limit, there is no default hotel limit.
