Create a minimum room number per rate when booking a group rate on the booking engine
Some properties may wish to offer a discounted group rate that is only available if a minimum number of rooms are booked in a single transaction. This would be useful for small gatherings or events such as family functions, corporate groups or golf tours.
To enable this feature, follow the steps below.
Click the Booking Engine tab.
On the left navigation panel hover over Rates and Packages.
Click Browse Rates.
On the rate you wish to enable this feature on, select the edit button.
Select the Rooms tab.
Under the header booking restrictions select the minimum rooms required from the drop down.
Click save changes.
📌Note: Unlike the maximum room limit, there is no default hotel limit.
