Room Group setup explained
Watch the video below to find out how you can create room groups for your property.
Go into SHR Booking Engine.
On the left side navigation panel select manage rooms.
Click list room groups.
Select the create rate group button.
Enter a room group code. This is for internal use and will be used to distinguish room groups in reporting.
From the drop down select the correct status.
Order Index is no longer applicable.
Mode - decide how rooms are included or excluded:
Whitelist Mode – only selected rooms will be shown.
Blacklist Mode – all rooms except the ones selected will be shown.
Parent Room Group If this Room Group should sit under a broader category, select the parent group here.
Add the relevant rooms to complete the setup.
Click Save Changes.
Room Groups on the Booking Engine
Room Groups will appear on the choose page of the Booking Engine.
Select the filter button on the right hand side.
Here you can filter by Room groups.
