These key metrics will help you understand how to optimize your website and booking engine to capitalize on these opportunities.
Guest Conversion Rate (GCR)
A measure of the conversion rate of your booking engine from customers that reach the customize stage but have not yet booked. These users have proceeded beyond a simple date search and shown a stronger intent to book with your property. These customers have clicked Book Now on the choose page and preceded to the next stage of the booking path.
Live pipeline
The value of outstanding, not converted guests based on their search history. A month-by-month breakdown of the pipeline across all countries and segments is presented.
Website visits
The average number of distinct browsing sessions from users of your website and or booking engine.
Consideration Time
The number of days a user spends considering staying at your property from first visit to booking.
Active Engagement Time
The cumulative amount of time a user spends interacting with your website or booking engine from when they first visit to when they book.
Cancellation Rate
The cancellation rate from bookings due to check-in over the last 90 days.
Average Booking Value
The average booking value of all bookings due to check-in over the last 90 days.
Lead Time
The average lead time days of bookings due to check-in over the last 90 days.
Segmentation breakdown of the data
Each of the metrics is further shown broken down by guest cohort.
The top 3 countries are outlined.
The top 3 segments are broken down.
How are segments defined:
A couple a search made for two adults.
Solo a search for one adult.
A Family a search made with a child included.
Group a search with more than one room included.
