Set up a shared group image folder

To have this folder set up contact the support team to get this created for your group [email protected]

Navigate the shared image folder

When the shared image folder is created you can share images with other properties in your group. Follow the steps below to navigate the shared image folder.

  1. Click the MediaCenter tab.

  2. Click My Media Galleries on the left navigation.

  3. You will be able to identify a shared group folder if it shows two or more sites.

    • If it is not a shared folder this wording will not be there.

    • You will also see a note under the quick links header if you have access to a group folder. This will appear in a yellow box and will read the following:

⚠️Important: Your property has access to one or more shared galleries which should be used to upload any images that you want to make automatically available to all properties in the group. This will avoid the need to upload multiple copies of the same image for each property.

  4. Check the group folder for images as they might already be available in the group folder.

📌Note: Group folders are helpful if you have multiple properties and you need for example a Valentine’s image to be used across each property. Upload the image to the group folder and it can be used by each property, without the need of the image been uploaded to the individual properties.

Upload a new image to a group folder

Follow the steps below to upload an image to a group folder.

  1. Click the MediaCenter tab.

  2. Click My Media Galleries on the left navigation.

  3. Click new image.

  4. A new screen will open called File Upload.

  5. On the right you will see you can drag images from your computer to the designated area in the upload screen or you can click on the designated area and browse images which are saved within your computer files.

    • If you have image content copied to your clipboard, you can paste directly from the clipboard to the upload screen using CTRL+V.

  6. The image will need to be cropped.

  7. Select crop on each image.

    • After an image is cropped, it is automatically scaled to all relevant image sizes and the original image is removed.

  8. On the left fill in the name, Alt tag and keywords.

  9. Give the image a clear name for easy identification later.

📌Note: Keywords are helpful for search engine optimisation purposes.

  10. Under the header Tag & Search you will need to click on the relevant options; Room, Offer, Voucher, Property or Voucher Customisation Banner.

📌Note: We recommend you select room, offer and voucher.

  11. Click save changes to complete the upload.

    • The image will now be available across the applicable sites.
