Cancel and refund a voucher

If the hotel or property has agreed to cancel a voucher and refund the guest the following steps must be taken.

โš ๏ธImportant: A property will need to give the voucher refund via their third party payment gateway.

  1. Refund the voucher via the third party payment gateway.

    • This is done by the property. SHR support can not carry out a refund for a voucher on a customers behalf.

  2. Click Vouchers along the top navigation.

  3. Click Search Sold Vouchers.

  4. Search for the voucher by using the voucher reference number, internal reference or the customer name.

  5. Click Search vouchers.

  6. Click Details .

  7. Click add comment .

    ๐Ÿ“ŒNote: It is advisable to add a comment to ensure that the reason for cancelling is recorded correctly.

  8. Click mark cancelled.

    • If there are multiple vouchers in one transaction, tick the box next to the voucher you wish to cancel.
