Currency pricing calculation and display

The booking engine defaults to the hotel's base currency.
There are two scenarios, where it is possible to display the pricing across the booking engine pages to a shopper in an alternative currency.
Situations where an alternate currency will be displayed
Below outlines how an alternative currency will be displayed on the booking engine.
If currency prediction functionality is turned on, we will attempt to automatically show the prices in the local currency of the shopper based on the geolocation of their device's IP Address.
If a shopper specifically selects to see pricing in an alternative currency on the booking engine.
A shopper will do this by clicking the currency symbol within the booking engine to open the choose a new currency pop up and then manually changing to an alternate option.
Daily exchange rate updates
Below outlines how the exchange rates are calculated.
The booking engine retrieves exchange rates daily from the European Central Bank also called the ECB.
These rates are used to convert your base currency into the selected display currency.β

All bookings are processed in your property's default currency.
