Set up length of stay discount
Length of stay discount is a feature that allows you to apply stay longer and save discounts to a rates. This is a great option for those who would like to increase their properties length of stay by giving a small incentive.
This video will give you a step by step guide on the length of stay discount feature.
Follow the steps below to set up length of stay discounting.
Click the Booking Engine tab.
Hover over Rates and Packages.
Click Browse Rates.
On the rate you wish to add the discount, click edit.
Click the Restrictions tab.
At the bottom of this screen, you’ll find the section for LOS discounts.
Click + add discount rule to create a new rule.
In the first drop down menu select the number of room nights.
In the second drop down menu select the discount type.
If the discount type contains an [X] or [Y], you can fill in values to replace them with the values you wish to use.
Click save changes.
The LOS discount symbol will now appear in the browse rates home screen on the particular rate it is set up on.
Length of stay discount restrictions
Length of stay discounting when set up will apply across all dates by default.
Follow the steps below to set up length of stay discount restrictions.
Click the Booking Engine tab.
Hover over Rates and Packages.
Click Browse Rates.
To apply a restriction hover over the tag icon.
Click manage restrictions.
Click the LOS discount you would like to apply a restriction.
If you would like to apply restrictions to all the discounts you can click global.
Click the dates to restriction.
Click the dates on the calendar you would like to restrict or you would like the LOS discount not to show.
You can click on the month title or a day of week in the calendar to add or remove multiple days at once.
Click save changes.
