Responses from the Rate Troubleshooting tool
Below outlines some of the responses that are outlined by the Rate troubleshooting tool:
Pricing
Externally managed rate
The rate troubleshooting tool may show an issue with the price of the rate. This is due to no price been set. If this is the case check your channel manager and send pricing to your rate. You will need to raise the issue with your channel manager if the pricing is not updating.
Internally managed rate
If your pricing is controlled in the Booking Engine you must configure a rate period or extend an existing rate period, and enter pricing for this rate.
Length of stay
The length of stay searched may not be within the minimum and maximum LOS configured for this rate.
For example you may have searched for 2 nights. However, the rate is configured with MinLOS of 3 and MaxLOS of 3.
Should you wish to change this follow the steps outline in the rate troubleshooting tool. An example is shown below:
Click Booking Engine.
Hover over Rates & Packages.
Click Browse Rates.
Find the Rate.
Click [edit].
In the Restrictions tab check your MinLOS and MaxLOS and change if necessary.
Save Changes.
