What is the Estimated Time of Arrival feature

  • The Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) feature allows a guest to enter the time that they will roughly arrive at the property for their booking.

  • The ETA will appear on the Details page of the IBE.

How to activate the ETA feature on the IBE

  1. Click on the Booking Engine tab

  2. Click Site Configuration and then click Edit Site Profile.

  3. Select the Flags tab and tick the Ask for ETA box under Hotel Flags.

  4. Click Save Changes.

Note: If a room has an Early Check-In add-on added to the reservation, this input will not show for the room being booked.

How to edit arrival time selection

  1. Go to the Booking Engine service.

  2. Click Site Configuration.

  3. Click Edit Site Profile.

  4. Go to the General tab.

  5. Go to time restrictions and add Earliest ETA and Latest ETA.

  6. Click Save Changes.

Note: The selection of arrival times available to the guest on the details page is determined by the time interval between the earliest and latest ETA times.

Note: The ETA will appear on the booking engine confirmation page, the guest reservation email and the reservation details in the admin screen.
