Estimated time of arrival feature

Outlined below are the main features of time of arrival feature.

  • The estimated time of arrival (ETA) feature allows a guest to enter the time that they will roughly arrive at the property for their booking.

  • The ETA will appear on the book page of the booking engine.



Activate the estimated time of arrival feature

Outlined below are the steps to activate the estimated time of arrival feature.

  1. Click Booking Engine.

  2. Hover over Site Configuration.

  3. Click Edit Site Profile.

  4. Click the Flags tab.

  5. Tick the Ask for ETA box under hotel flags.

  6. Click save changes.

๐Ÿ“ŒNote: If a room has an early check-In add-on added to the reservation, this input will not show for the room being booked.


Edit arrival time selection

Follow the steps below to edit arrival time selection.

  1. Click Booking Engine.

  2. Hover over Site Configuration.

  3. Click Edit Site Profile.

  4. Click the General tab.

  5. Go to time restrictions.

  6. From the dropdown menu choose the earliest ETA and latest ETA.

  7. Click save changes.

๐Ÿ“ŒNote: The selection of arrival times available to the guest on the book page is determined by the time interval between the earliest and latest ETA times.

๐Ÿ“ŒNote: The ETA will appear on the booking engine confirmation page, the guest reservation email and the reservation details in the admin screen.
