Where a Guest change their Booking

Guests can manage their upcoming bookings under the Manage Reservation screen.

This area can be accessed via the hamburger menu on the top right of the booking engine as seen below. This menu option replaces the existing cancel booking and modify booking links and is a lot more visual and engaging.

The login will only ask for a Booking Reference and the booker's email as well as a captcha to identify the user as a real person. Once on the My Reservation screen, all information needed is listed.

1. The user will be greeted with a personalized message and see the hotel image as an overview.

​ 2. The overview will detail the check in and checkout time, the hotel name, and a countdown of how much time is left until arrival.
​ 3. List the most relevant information for the guest. Here we also show the booked early check in in the ETA.
​ 4. List the booked rooms and the display differs based on what stage the booking is as well as what options are enabled for the hotel.
​4. a. If modifications are allowed and the booking allows for a modification to be made each room section shows additional information to amend the booking. It will show prices for extending your stay, early check in and late checkout, if available and possible.
​ 5. If configured, it shows possible Room Upgrades.

6. Then available upsells that are most relevant to the customers based on the country selected by the booker. We show the top three available upsell groups and if more are available they can be reached below by a click on the button.
​ 7. The room information is shown similar to the room popup during the normal booking process to let guests review their choice.

8. Last, to wrap up this section, the rate information is shown.

9. After that, the cancellation terms are shown in a visual format to give the customer a better overview of when they might need to take action without penalties applied.

  • The button to Cancel is available up until arrival or cancellations are prohibited by the rules setup.

  • The button to Cancel and Rebook is only shown if a cancellation is allowed and no penalty is configured at the time.

  • The button to Modify shows up under the same rules; as it was before allowed on the reservation login screen
