Set up custom confirmation list messages
Confirmation messages are a great way to communicate with your guests after they complete a booking. This might be to encourage them to make a dinner reservation or to explain a policy.

Create a custom confirmation list messages
Outlined below are the steps on how to set up a custom confirmation list messages.
Click the Booking Engine tab.
On the heft navigation, hover over Rates & Packages.
Click Confirmation Messages.
Click + Create message.
General tab
Outlined below are the steps on how to set up the general tab for a custom confirmation list messages.
Status:
Use the dropdown to activate or suspend the message at any time.
The order index is no longer applicable.
To reorder the confirmation messages follow the steps below:
Click the Booking Engine tab.
On the heft navigation, hover over Rates & Packages.
Click Confirmation Messages.
Hover over the burger menu on the left of any confirmation message you would like to move.
Drag and drop the confirmation message to the desired location.
Add a link to direct bookers to another page, such as your restaurant booking system.
The link is an optional entry.
If no URL is provided, no call-to-action (CTA) button will appear with the message.
Enter a message title:
Enter a short, clear title for your message.
Enter a message description:
This is the body of your message.
The character limit is 250 characters.
Enter link text:
Create a call to action for the button on the confirmation message. An example would be click here or learn more.
Add an image to your confirmation message:
Search the title of your image or select the folder from the dropdown.
Tick the box next to the image.
Click add selected.
Click save changes.
Rates tab
In the rates tab, you can control which rates display the confirmation message. Follow the steps below to add confirmation message to rates.
From the drop down under the header rate list mapping select on option:
Enable this confirmation message for all selected rates.
If this option is enabled the ticked rates will show the confirmation messages.
Disable this confirmation message for all selected rates.
If this option is enabled the ticked rates will not show the confirmation messages.
Tick the rates dependent on the select made under the header rate list mapping.
Click save changes.

Upsells tab
In the upsells tab, you can choose which upsell offers will display your confirmation message. Follow the steps below to add confirmation message to upsells.
From the drop down under the header upsell list mapping select on option:
Enable this confirmation message for all selected upsells.
If this option is enabled the ticked upsells will show the confirmation messages.
Disable this confirmation message for all selected upsells.
If this option is enabled the ticked upsells will not show the confirmation messages.
Tick the upsells dependent on the select made under the header upsell list mapping.
Click save changes.
Custom confirmation list messages appears to a customer
This message will show on the confirmation email the customer will receive.
