Process Wait list Requests

If there is no availability the customer will be given the option to get in touch with the hotel or property using a Booking Request Form.

When a customer fills in this form an email will be sent to the hotel or property advising them there is a request in the SHR booking engine to be responded to.


Respond to the Wait list request

  1. Select the booking engine tab.

  2. On the left hand navigation select Wait List.

  3. Click Details button to the right of the wait list request you wish to process.

  4. When you review your inventory for the date requested if you add more inventory and want the guest to be able to book a room, you click Send Email & Mark Processed. The guest will then receive an email to inform them there is availability and a link to book now.

  5. Alternatively, you can edit the Message box shown below to let them know you unfortunately have no availability. Ensure you remove the @BOOK_NOW_LINK@ line from the message, and then click Send Email & Dismiss Request button.

  6. If when you reviewed the inventory and there isn't any more available to give, you can click the dismiss request button at the bottom of the screen below. The guest will NOT receive an email confirming this.
