Create a closed user group on your booking engine

This allows guests to input their email address in exchange for their email address customers will unlock discounts on available rates or allow them to access rates.

Follow the steps below to learn how to create a closed user group.

  1. Click the CRM tab.

  2. On the left hand navigation hover over Closed User Groups.

  3. Click Configure Closed Rates.

  4. Enter a title, a description and an incentive.

    • This information will be displayed on the booking engine for all visitors to see.

  5. Select the promotion you want to apply.

  6. Tick unlock member rates if you would like customers to unlock a member rate via the closed user group.

  7. Update the status of your closed user group from the dropdown menu:

    • Active.

    • Suspended.

  8. Tick the box beside the pages you would like to display the closed user group on.

  9. Under the header additional configuration, select the relevant option from the dropdown menu.

    • This indicate the type of consent option displayed to the user for newsletter signup.

  10. Select the image you would like to add to your closed user group.

  11. Click save changes.

    • Your closed user group window is now active on the booking engine.

    • Visitors can enter their email address to receive a four-digit code via email, which they can use to unlock the promotion.

    • The email address's that are collect can be exported for use in your marketing campaigns.


Suspend a closed user group from the booking engine

Follow the steps below to suspend a closed user group.

  1. Click the CRM tab.

  2. On the left hand navigation hover over Closed User Groups.

  3. Click Configure Closed Rates.

  4. Under the header apply promotion change the status to suspended.

  5. Click save changes.
