Set up a member rate with automatic sign ups to offer your customers a discount when they sign up for an account.

How to unlock a Member rate

When the customer is on the choose page of the Booking Engine they will see the Member rate and a button to sign up.

When the customer clicks sign up, they will see the login screen. Here the customer requests an account and unlocks the rate so they can now book the rate.

Note: If the request account is not available, email the support team to get this activated [email protected]


Make your rate a member rate

Follow the steps below to set up a member rate;

  • Click Booking Engine along the top navigation.

  • Hover over Rates & Packages.

  • Click Browse Rates.

  • Press edit of the newly created rate.

  • Click the Advance tab.

  • Under the header Access restriction, click member rate.

  • Click Save changes.

Your rate will now have a person icon to indicate it is a member rate.

It is important to note the member rate will show with the discount included.

Note: Test this on one date to ensure the correct rate is carrying over as it should


How to set up the customer access to a member rate

Account Template

Account Templates are a means of automatically assigning rates to customers who sign up for accounts on your system without the need to manually manage the setup for each individual customer.

To set up an account template follow the steps below:

  • Navigate to the CRM along the top navigation.

  • Click Account template.

  • Click create account template.

  • Give the account template a name. For example Member Rate sign up.

  • Tick the box ‘allow access to public rates’, this means when a customer is logged in they can view other rates.

  • Notes can be added to describe the template for example member rate auto allow.

  • Under the header rate mapping, select the member rate.

  • Nothing is required in manual rate codes.

  • Click Save changes.

On the Account template home screen select the relevant option. For member rate templates select remember me signup and Account request.

Remember me is a way to create account sign-ups at the end of the booking process it’s specific only to this point of the booking process. If users are already logged in - it doesn’t show to the guest about to checkout.

Account requests, this is a specific one for member rates, and other account requests.

VIP, this is no longer applicable.


Manage Accounts

Now the template is in place for those who sign up to the member rate this data is collected in Manage Accounts.

To navigate to the signup data follow the steps below;

  • Click CRM along the top navigation.

  • Click Manage Accounts.

  • All the customers information will populate in this screen, in alphabetical order.

  • Click export to CSV, to download the data.


Customise the login screen

To customise the login screen follow the steps below:

  • Click CRM.

  • Click config customisation.

Note: If you do not see this option you will need to send an email to customer support and ask to have this activated.

  • Click + Create customisation

  • Enter a title.

  • Enter a description.

  • Enter incentives.

  • Set your status to active, suspended or deleted.

  • Assign on pages, for a member rate select all three options, login page, request account page, my profile page.

  • Select an image.

  • Click Save changes.

Account Performance Dashboard

To view the performance of your account sign ups follow the steps below:

  • Click CRM along the top navigation.

  • On the left click Account Dashboard.

  • You will see a screen reporting on Promo Codes and User Accounts. From the drop down menu select User Accounts to view this specific data.

  • Click on the email address to view the results of a specific user.
