In SHR Booking Engine (SHR BE), credit card information is automatically removed from a reservation once it's cancelled. This process ensures compliance with PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) regulations, which mandate the secure handling and storage of sensitive payment information.

All remaining details of the reservation will still be available to view.

Should credit card details be required to apply any cancellation charges in this case, the guest would need to be contacted directly by the hotel for this information.
