Min and max leadin explained

Outlined below are the explanations of min and max leadin.

Min leadin

  • Min leadin is the minimum amount of days a customer must make a reservation before they check-in.

  • If this is zero that means the customer can book today and check-in today.

  • If you have an advance purchase rate where you wish customers to book at least seven days in advance, then you should set the min leadin value on your rate to seven.

Max leadin

  • Max leadin is the maximum amount of days a customer can make a reservation in advance of check-in.

  • If this is ten that means a customer can only make a reservation for check-in within the next ten days.

  • On most rates, this value should be left blank unless you have specific reasons to set it.
