Min and max leadin explained
Min Leadin
Min Leadin is the minimum amount of days a customer must make a reservation before they check-in.
If this is 0 that means the customer can book today and check-in today.
If you have an advance purchase rate where you wish customers to book at least 7 days in advance, then you should set the min leadin value on your rate to 7.
Max Leadin
Max Leadin is the maximum amount of days a customer can make a reservation in advance of check-in.
If this is 10 that means a customer can only make a reservation for check-in within the next 10 days.
On most rates, this value should be left blank unless you have specific reasons to set it.
Set up min and max LOS on a rate
Follow the steps below to update your rate with either a min or max leadin:
Click the booking engine along the top navigation.
Hover over rates and packages on the left navigation.
Click browse rates.
Click edit on the selected rate.
Click the restrictions tab.
Enter a number into either the min or max leadin boxes.
Click save changes.
