Guest retention vouchers overview

  • Guest retention vouchers incentivize guests who want to cancel a booking to purchase a voucher, at a discounted rate, for a returning visit in the future.

  • The guest retention voucher supports hotels to tailor exclusive incentives to cancelling guests.


How to set up guest retention vouchers

  • Set up a regular voucher here

  • Add the voucher to a voucher group here

  • Click on the hide the voucher visibility button.

  • Ensure there is a default Voucher group for all vouchers except the hidden vouchers set up.

  • Copy the URL from the new voucher group.


How to activate guest retention vouchers

  1. Go to the Booking Engine service.

  2. Click Site Configuration.

  3. Click Edit Site Profile.

  4. Click the General Tab.

  5. Paste the link of the already created voucher into the Cancellation Voucher Group URL.

  6. Go to the Customer Info tab, and add a customer cancellation message which a customized message regarding cancellations will appear after the guests confirms the cancellation.

  7. Click Save Changes.
