Email confirmation on the booking engine
Outlined below is how the email confirmation feature will appear on the booking engine:
A customer will fill in the email address however they will have to re enter their email address to confirm it is correct.
Two fields will appear:
An email field and an email address confirmation field.
These fields are mandatory and must be filled in by the customer.
A benefit of having email address confirmation is accuracy and therefore all emails will be sent to the customer.
Enable the email confirmation feature
To enable this feature follow the steps below:
Click Booking Engine.
On the right navigation, hover over Site Configuration.
Click Edit Site Profile.
Click the tab named Flags.
Under the header hotel flags, tick the box enable email address confirmation.
Click save changes.
