Hidden rates
A hidden rate is a special rate that can only be booked using a direct link. It won’t appear in regular search results on your booking engine.
This is useful if your hotel or property wants to offer exclusive deals for example:
Past guests.
Newsletter subscribers.
Loyalty members.
Only people who have the special link will be able to see and book the rate.
Set up a hidden rate
Follow the steps below to create a hidden rate.
Click the Booking Engine tab.
On the left side navigation hover over Rates and Packages.
Click Browse Rates.
Click the + Create rate button.
Click the Advanced tab, this is where you make your rate hidden.
Under the distribution heading, this is where you select which modules the rate will be available on. For a hidden rate we untick all boxes so the rate isn't available on any public pages.
Click save changes.
Link to a hidden rate
As this rate is hidden, it will not appear on the booking engine or any results pages for a property. For customers to access this rate they will need the link.
Follow the steps below to learn how to get the link.
Click the Booking Engine tab.
On the left side navigation hover over Rates and Packages.
Click Browse Rates.
Find your hidden rate.
Click on the green web button to the right of your rate.
Copy the URL from the newly opened webpage.
Only copy up to ".html".
