Upsell is not showing for sale

Here are some common reasons why your upsell might not be showing for sale and how to fix it.

Troubleshooting the edit tab of an upsell

Follow the steps below to review the setup of the edit tab of an upsell and try and troubleshoot the issue.

  1. Click the Booking Engine tab.

  2. Hover over Upsells.

  3. Click Upsell Group List.

  4. Click edit on the upsell.

  5. Check the upsell status.

    • Only active upsells will show.

    • Make sure the status within the general tab is not set to suspended.

  6. Review active date range.

    • If you've set date conditions for when the upsell should display, it won’t appear unless today's date falls within that range. Valid dates can be adjusted from within the advanced tab.

  7. Confirm leadin time conditions.

    • Packages won’t display if the current booking doesn’t meet the lead-in time settings.

    • Check those conditions from within the advanced tab.

  8. Check opt-in or opt- out filters.

    • Ensure the upsell is opted in for the correct rates and rooms.

    • It won’t show if it’s excluded via opt-out filters. Double-check these settings from within the filters tab.

Follow the steps below to review the setup of the customise tab of an upsell and try and troubleshoot the issue.

  1. Click the Booking Engine tab.

  2. Hover over Upsells.

  3. Click Upsell Group List.

  4. Click customise on the upsell.

  5. Ensure the follow information has been added to the upsell:

    • Name.

    • Description.

    • Price.
