Why your upsell isn’t showing

Here are some common reasons why your upsell might not be showing— and how to fix them.

Key settings that affect upsell visibility

To navigate to your upsells screen:

  • Click Booking Engine along the top navigation.

  • Click on Upsells and Upsell Group List.

  • Click edit or customise on the Upsell.

Follow the steps below to review your setup.

  1. Check the Upsell Status - Only active upsells will show. Make sure the status within the general tab isn’t set to suspended.

  2. Review Active Date Range - If you've set date conditions for when the upsell should display, it won’t appear unless today's date falls within that range. Valid dates can be adjusted from within the advanced tab.

  3. Confirm Lead-In Time Conditions - Packages won’t display if the current booking doesn’t meet the lead-in time settings. Double-check those conditions from within the advanced tab.

  4. Check Opt-In/Out Filters - Ensure the upsell is opted in for the correct rates/rooms. It won’t show if it’s excluded via opt-out filters. Double-check these settings from within the filters tab.

  5. Complete Required Fields - Click customise next to the upsell you wish to manage and make sure you’ve added:

    • Name

    • Description

    • Price

Note: Strikethrough Price is optional.
