User accounts
Casual user accounts allow the customer to log in and have their details pre-populated when making a booking.
They usually receive no special treatment from the property unless the property decides to do so in individual cases. For example, providing a customer with access to preferred rates.
This type of account can be created via a number of methods:
Customers can opt to create an account when making a booking via the remember me signup.
Customer VIP signups, properties can create the account on behalf of a guest.
Corporate accounts
This allows your property to set up access to preferred rates for companies with whom you have a prior agreement.
In order to to facilitate better management of your view of these types of customers, SHR booking engine CRM gives you the ability to create sub-accounts under a parent account.
The SHR booking engine CRM also allows the property to specify whether a corporate can make bookings without having to provide payment details, specify notes for customers, allow for pre-population of Name, Address and other details.
Specify an internal member of the team who receives account request emails
It maybe the cause other members of the internal would like to receive notification when an account request has been made.
Follow the steps below to input an email to receive these requests:
Notifications of an account request will be sent to the main email that receives bookings and other notifications.
To have a secondary email receive notifications navigate to the CRM tab along the top navigation.
On the left hover over site configuration.
Click edit site profile.
Under the general tab enter the required email into the field named account requests.
Click save changes.
